Leonardo Bonucci – Juventus Return Would Be One of Summer’s Biggest Shocks

I believe it’s fair to say we’ve had a pretty interesting summer thus far. And to describe it like that would even come as an understatement.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a shock swoop to Juventus in a £100 million-plus deal earlier in July and the Portuguese has been the biggest talk of the town as he settles in his new environment. Having materialized a move for the officially best player on the planet, Bianconeri have cemented their reputation as transfer specialists. And with the summer transfer window heading towards its closure this August it is once again Serie A champions who could hit the limelight yet again.

And no, I’m not talking about all the drama regarding a potential Miralem Pjanic departure and another headliner coming in – most prominently Paul Pogb…

Speaking to the press ahead of his team s trip to the south coast of England where they play Southampton today (Saturday), the Norwegian was asked directly whether the Chilean had a future at the club. His response was positive, and he elaborated by pointing out that it was, after all, a one-season loan, and that Alexis is expected to go to Inter and represent Manchester United by acting in a professional manner. Sanchez is widely considered as one of the biggest disappointments when it comes to transfe…

Colombian defender Mario Yepes has admitted that he would prefer to remain at Chievo this summer.

The 34-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Spanish side Espanyol.

Chievo are my priority, but if it’s not possible to continue here, I’d still love to remain in Italy.

His dedication to his profession cannot be denied. Moyes began taking his coaching badges from the thirty years ago whilst playing at Bristol City.

At thirty-four, he was handed his first managerial role at Preston North End and within two-and-a-half years clinched the Division Two title taking the Lancashire club to the second-tier – now known as the Championship.
