According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Ivan Rakitic has been offered a three year deal that is believed to be worth £110,000 a week – aka £5.7 million a year, to join Inter Milan. The 30 year old’s future has been up for debate for what feels like forever, with the links between the midfielder and Inter Milan growing stronger and stronger with each passing day. Rakitic, who helped guide Croatia to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final this past summer, has been at the Nou Camp since 2014 when he made the jump over from Sevilla.
Rakitic is considered by many to be one of the most well rounded midfielders in European football today, which is what would make him such a huge purchase for Inter.
Etiher way, though, it doesn’t feel like this saga is over, and it seems as if it’s going to be dragged out all the way through to the summer transfer window.
