Sanchez still has United future – Solskjaer

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Alexis Sanchez could still have a future with the club, despite joining Inter Milan on a season-long loan.

Speaking to the press ahead of his team s trip to the south coast of England where they play Southampton today (Saturday), the Norwegian was asked directly whether the Chilean had a future at the club. His response was positive, and he elaborated by pointing out that it was, after all, a one-season loan, and that Alexis is expected to go to Inter and represent Manchester United by acting in a professional manner. Once the loan is over, the forward s return to the club and a future at Old Trafford is definitely on the table.

Sanchez is widely considered as one of the biggest disappointments when it comes to transfers in recent years. He was a vital player for Arsenal during his three and a half years at the Emirates, but after moving to United in January 2018, the 30-year-old only managed to score five goals in 45 appearances.
